Our co-founder @obiepearl + friends, @tinukes_orbit, @hoophustleflow, @lolliskates, @iam.everygirl, went to LA last year in May and had a blast - some of us stayed for a longer than a month! This year a lot of Play Tone members are heading out there to catch some rays, skate along Venice Beach strictly have good times! Here's some tips:

Skate from Venice Beach to Santa Monica - save ya pennies for the amusement rides! (Approx 45mins).
They provide amazing service - from giving you the tips to fixing ting-a-lings!
VENICE BEACH JAMS + OUTDOOR DISCOS + SKATE PARK!
If you're feeling brave shred it out at the skate park!
For those you love to skate dance head there after work or at the weekend for the main action.

Our most friendly Moonlight Roller Disco was out fave! Marawa sometimes hosts roller disco parties too. The best nights are Wednesday LGBT.

We like to travel with Rookie Skate Bags like this and always have our equipment as hand luggage, and a lil bum bag...
(Keep tools + other objects in your hold luggage)
Be warned bags, skates etc have gone missing - so always keep an eye on your possessions at all times from flying to having fun in LA!
